The History of Tattoos

In this class we will talk about the very early beginnings of body modification and tattooing, dating from prehistory to today. We will go through tattooing styles and cultures from around the world, as well as the techniques and methods they used. At the last class, there will be a demonstration of a "traditional" hand-poked tattoo (on myself, or a volunteer)!
