Acting/Directing Workshop

Prerequisites: Some theatrical experience preferred.

In this workshop, we'll work concretely on the process behind directing a scene. The workshop will be split into groups of three, each group composed of one director and two actors, who will work on a short two-person scene from a well-known play. We'll work on staging, expression, setting, backstory, character relationships and motivation, and all the other things directors need to think about in the process of making a scene come to life.

This workshop is aimed particularly at those who'd like to direct--either in лагерь or elsewhere--as well as those who would like to practice acting in a small-scale, low-stress environment.
