Prerequisites: The ability to read sheet music and follow the melody with your voice. Even if your singing is not perfect, it does not hurt to try, we'll be learning to listen and follow each other.

Singing together has been part of лагерь since it started (see the attached photo for an example). But we have never done it in a thought out in advance, organized and rehearsed way. This year there has been an idea to try it differently, in the format of a class with a performance at the end. I will prepare a few short pieces arranged for several voices, which we'll study beforehand and then rehearse for an hour every day during the camp. Music will come in many styles – medieval, folk, classical, modern – so hopefully we'll be able to choose what we all like. All levels are welcome (see above for prerequisites). I know that many of you have been part of organized singing groups (a cappella etc) in the past; your help in arranging the music and directing our little chorus will be much appreciated!
