Крутить Пой / Poi Spinning

Когда я был маленьким, я любил крутить разные штуки. Оказывается я не единственный. 

В многих культурах люди крутили разные штуки на верёвках. Название пой происходит из культуры Маори, но в 20ом веке термин начали использовать для многих похожих искусств. В этом классе, я начну учить крутить пой, а кому захочется покажу и побольше.

У всех будет что покрутить.

Ever since I was little, I always loved to spin various things. Well it turns out I am not the only one.

In many different places the tradition of spinning strings with a weight at the end came about. The word poi comes from a Mauri practice, but in the 20th centruy has since adopted by many other spinning communities. In this class I will be teaching some beginner spins on poi and to those who want I can try to teach some more advanced things as well. 

Everyone will be given something to spin.
